As the library is now over 1GB in size compressed, the bandwidth fees were prohibitive. It has a variety of settings for configuring your OpenSceneryX install, including allowing you to choose the method you would like to use for season switching and whether to incorporate OpenSceneryX library items into your core X-Plane® autogen. This provides a much faster and more efficient download process. FlyWithLua will support all platforms, Windows, Linux and Mac, and it will support X-Plane 9 and X-Plane 10. It intelligently detects which files are old or are missing from your install, and will only download those needed. The installer now works well across a wide range of operating systems and environments, and there are known workarounds for Windows 7 – see the FAQs page for details.
We used to provide this for those who were having trouble with the installer, or were on old operating systems. It looks like you are trying to download a full zip archive of the OpenSceneryX library.
